Pono Roots Counseling Center is as therapy and training center. Each PRCC therapist or counselor is selected for their ability to provide truly transformative client services. PRCC team members have ample life, educational, and hands-on clinical experience. We offer two kinds of treatment and we firmly stand behind the efficacy of all our work. Licensed therapists treat clients directly and collaborate with our clinical director as needed. Treatment staff that has not yet completed standards required for autonomous treatment, work under the direct supervision of our clinical director. Through this working model, clinical director and treating staff work with clients on initial intake, assessment, and treatment planning. The clinical director oversees, supervises, and monitors this client work. Staff in this category receives supervision weekly, and as needed, as well as continuous training.
