Olivia E.,
MFT-I

Pre-Licensed Therapist - Supervised

Education: I hold a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chaminade University of Honolulu.

Experience: With over a decade of experience in the arts, I enjoy creating dynamic, collaborative environments. My experience as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with active-duty military and veterans has equipped me to work with a trauma-informed baseline, aiding clients in processing childhood and adult challenges with evidence-based mindful practices and emotional regulation skills.

Beliefs: Curiosity over criticism drives my practice, fostering collaborative therapeutic relationships. I focus on brain retraining, emotional intelligence, and somatic experiences to help clients thrive. Our brains are far more capable than we give them credit for; we can work together in brain retraining to elevate your emotional state and harness the power of redirecting thoughts.

Approach: Using a strengths-based approach, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and various psychotherapeutic modalities to promote self-awareness and adaptive coping strategies. I develop personalized treatment plans to address unique psychosocial, emotional, and familial dynamics.

Clients: I work with individuals aged 18 and older, embracing diverse religious, personal, and cultural backgrounds, including sexually and gender-diverse partnerships.
