Education: Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu with a focus in Mental Health.

Experience: My professional experience includes working at the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline as a Crisis Counselor. I provide support to people going through emotional distress. I also have experience working as a Day Treatment Counselor for individuals with dual diagnosis. I had the opportunity to create lesson plans on various topics such as Symptom Management, Relapse Prevention, and Life Skills. I have experience helping

people learn and cope with life stressors including Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Schizophrenia, and Bipolar disorder.

Approach: As an eclectic counselor, we will work together to choose strategies to meet your needs. We may draw from an array of therapeutic approaches including Person-Centered, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Beliefs: Healing can happen at any phase in life. I believe we can access our internal wisdom when we feel safe and heard. I will provide a warm and supportive space for you to explore concerns and reconnect with your strengths. Creating awareness of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Fees: $150 hour, sliding scale available. We accept HMSA, UHA, HMAA,  and Tricare
