Adoptive Parent Training

Pre-adoptive training is required by most placing organizations, and

licensing bodies and is required for all families. AFT offers Adoptive Parent

Training (APT) on an on-going basis for prospective adoptive parents and people interested in learning more about common issues and themes in adoption.

The cost for APT is $150/person and is conducted over the course of four (4) days, for approximately two (2) hours each day. Training is offered in person and remotely. Participants receive a minimum of twelve (12) hours of course work.
